Student letter

Hello everybody,

We are a group of students from Romania, a country situated in the central part of Europe. We live in Miercurea Ciuc, Csikszereda, a town surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains. Winter time these mountains are covered by snow.

We are students in the Székely Károly Technical School. The 90% of students are boys. We study technical subjects and general-culture subjects as well.

Here is our group:

My name is Attila Szőcs. I am a boy. I am 17 years old and I live in Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc) in Romania. I live with my parents and my 12 years old brother. I am a student at the Székely Károly Technical School in my hometown. My hobbies are computers and sports, especially basketball. My favorite free-time activities are playing computer games and basketball. My favorite food is pizza, but I enjoy any kind of meal as well.

My name is Pál Csongor. I am 17 years old. I live in Szépvíz, a village in Transylvania, not far away from the town Csikszereda. I travel every day by bus to go to school. I have been a student in the SzékelyKároly Technical Schoolfor 3 years now. I attend the 11^th form. I like extreme sports, specially cycling, running and climbing.

My name is Timár Nagy Róbert. I am 17 years old boy, I am a student in the 11^th form. My hobby is football. I like cooking good meals and I am very good in cooking.

My name is Lőrincz István, I live in Csikszereda. I am 17 year old. Basketball is my favorite sport. Gymnastics, Mathematics and IT Computers are my favorite subjects at school.

Hello! My name is Abos Nándor. I am student in the 11^th form. I am 17 years old. I enjoy dancing. I am a dancer in the National Dance Assembly in my home village.

My name is Ladó Csongor, I am 17 years old. I like playing football and listening to music. I travel by bus every day together with my classmate Nándor. We live in a village next to Csikszereda. I am a dancer in the National Dance Assembly in my home village, Csikszépvíz.

We would like to better our English, and we think that working in a Learning Circle would be a good opportunity to do it.

Teacher letter

Hello everybody!

We are the coordinator teachers of the communication based group from the Székely Károly Technical School from Miercurea Ciuc, Romania. We have been working together for six years now, and we enjoy working together.

My name is Hodgyai Mária Magdolna.

I teach Mathematics and I coordinate the GTP groups in my school, the  Székely Károly Technical School.
I enjoy swimming, travelling, reading and dancing.
I am greeting you from Csikszereda (Miercurea Ciuc) Romania. Most of the people in this part of Romania are Hungarians; therefore our town has a Hungarian name: Csikszereda and a Romanian one Miercurea Ciuc.
Our school takes part from the very beginnings in the GTP activities. I hope to have a nice time together.

Hi everyone!
My name is Lázár Réka and I teach computer technologies in the same school. I enjoy travelling, driving a car, reading and dancing.

There are almost 700 pupils in our school, mainly from the surrounding villages of the town, aged between 15 and 19 years. They study technical subjects and general culture subjects as well. After graduating this school they can attend to colleges or universities, or just simply go to work.

We are looking forward to cooperating with you and your students.
