LB8, Grigore Moisil Highschool, Romania

Hello,
 
   We are  the “Grigore Moisil” team. Our highschool is located in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. It was founded in 1965 and and in 1990 it was given the name of the famous  mathematician Grigore Moisil (the first Romanian  researcher in Computer Science)
    In June 2007 the highschool won the contest of projects organised by the Romanian Ministry of Education and received a grant  for institutional development. The project portal.moisil.ro was carried out having Microsoft, Siveco and 6th DistrictTownhall as partners and it consisted in implementing an educational portal for  teachers, students, parents and the local community. Our highschool is the only Romanian school among the 30 innovative schools around the world, being part of the project "Partners through Education", launched by Microsoft and approved by the Romanian Ministry of Education..
    Our motto is " Study with the best!"

 Alice Rafii
   My name is Alice, I’m seventeen and I’m studying at Grigore Moisil highschool, in Bucharest. I’m a very sociable and fun-loving person, but, at the same time, very sensible. I like being around people, having lots of friends, I love sports and I adore animals. As a matter of fact,  I have 3 dogs and a turtle and twice a week I practise horse-riding which is my latest hobby. I’ve tried all possible and impossible sports but horse-riding and dancing are my favorite.When I was smaller I wanted to become a famous dancer but, now, I want to become a good doctor, a dentist, and soon I’ll start preparing for university.
Cristiana Ciobotea
I was born one morning 16 years ago. My name is Ciobotea Cristiana Silvia and I am student at Grigore Moisil High School in the 10th grade. I'm a Scorpio and my ego is huge. I like sleeping  a lot and I'm afraid of the darkness and spiders. In my free time I like going for a walk in the parks, watching movies, going out with friends and  reading. I did swimming for seven years but I had to stop because I was forced to choose between school and sport.
Razvan Ene
Hello,my name is Razvan. I was born in Romania and I am 15 years old. I grew up in Bucharest. There isn’t much to tell about me other than I like computer games, playing the guitar and hanging out with my buddies once in a while. I study at“Grigore Moisil”Theoretical  High School, which is to my knowledge one of the best high schools in Romania.
Calin Rusu
Hello! My name is Calin Rusu and I am 15 years old. I live in Bucharest and I am a first year student at Theoretical High School Grigore Moisil. I am an optimistic and art-loving person. In my spare time I like walking and going to the cinema with my friends.
One of my greatest passions (along with rock music and gaming) is studying English. I see English as a perfect way to communicate with other cultures and a way to open my knowledge universe as well.

    English is not only my profession, it's also my hobby. I enjoy reading, especially books with a psychological touch, but crime stories  can  be very challenging and entertaining as well. I hope one day I'll go on a trip around the world.
